According to him, India's exports of marine products to China grew up by over 100 percent, organic chemicals by 40 percent, plastic and plastic products by 70 percent, gems and jewellery by 60 percent and mechanical machineries and appliances by 20 percent since the financial year 2016-17. A sharp decline in exports of copper, ores and minerals, zinc to China showed that India's exports were moving towards value added exports, according to him.
